| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2004 jeep grand cherokee. The contact stated while driving at speeds of 25 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. After several attempts, the contact was able to restart the vehicle. The dealer performed a diagnostic and discovered that the crankshaft position sensor had failed due to excessive moisture. The contact was able to locate nhtsa recall campaign id number 04v112000 (electrical system: starter assembly) and inquired with the manufacturer who advised the contact that his vin was not included in the recall.
