Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2018 jeep compass. The contact stated while driving 30 mph, the vehicle stalled and hesitated to accelerate. The check engine and auto start/stop warning lights were illuminated. The contact coasted the vehicle to the shoulder to restart the vehicle. After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle revved up abnormally. After turning and restarting the vehicle three times, the vehicle operated as designed. The vehicle was taken to quality motors (2022 w main st, independence, ks 67301, (620)331-6090) where it was diagnosed that the cylinder compression test showed that the number 2 cylinder was faulty however, the mechanic was unable to replicate the stalling. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure recurred intermittently.
