Description of the problem	Merging onto the highway the car suddenly turned off and the parking brake engaged. I was able to put on hazards but my vehicle was stopped on an on ramp and wouldn't start up right away. Looking into the problem a little more after i was able to get home, this car is known to have an excessive oil consumption issue. I changed my oil myself 4 months ago and am working from home, there has been minimal driving. When i checked the oil, it barely reached the dipstick. Called the dealership and asked what jeep is doing about this problem, the response was to bring my car in for an oil change (which it doesn't need) and to bring the car back every 500 miles for an oil consumption test. That is all jeep is doing about this problem. There is no warning that your oil is low, your car will just turn off in the middle of driving it. Extremely terrifying.
