Description of the problem	The engine burns an excessive amount of oil and then stalls while running - this is a huge safety issue. The first time this happened no oil light came on and it only flashed a few times on the second instance. Only 43000 miles on the engine an still under warranty but jeep is refusing to address this issue. Only 3000 miles since last oil change and had to bring to dealership because of stalling and was told it needed oil (3+ quarts). This is a know issue to jeep and they are putting people's lives at risk. Jeep is claiming that this is normal. They refuse to address because the issue is big and they refuse to pay to fix this. This happened to my daughter several times when driving. The dealer said it is a know issue and jeep is saying not covered under warranty. They charged us $185 today and said we need to check oil at ever fill up.
