Description of the problem | I purchased the compass brand new and have only 4,600 miles on the vehicle. When i was pulling up to a stop sign at a very busy intersection, the "low oil pressure" light came on and the vehicle stalled and would not move. Dealership said that this is "how the engine is designed to function" and resolved with an oil change. The oil should not be so low that engine cuts off. Also, this "safety feature" is incredibly dangerous as it gives no warning and cuts out while driving. This needs to be corrected!! |
