| Description of the problem | I was making a right hand turn into traffic on a busy highway when my brand new 2018 jeep compass stalled out. I had to quickly drift to safety and put on my hazard lights and try to start the car again. I took about a minute to start again. After that it happened several more times all when i was in the middle of driving. I called the dealer and was told that it usually means it needs an oil change. I had the car for 3 months and was told i should check the oil every 500 to 1000 miles even though the car takes oil and should be good for about 5,000 miles. Never once did i receive any warning lights. I fear for my safety when driving this vehicles. *dt *dt*jb |
