Description of the problem	I have a 2016 jeep compass and it randomly just turns off while i am driving it. My car has 55,000 miles on it. When it first happened it had a code for a crank sensor and i was told it required an update. The update did not change a thing. My car was still turning off at random times. This last time it turned off at a red light and while in drive began to roll backwards down a hill into oncoming traffic. Once i stopped the car, put on my flashers, and had it in park my jeep compass would not start again. I then had to flag down a police officer to help with the traffic around me. My car eventually started and i drove it right to the jeep dealer who told me there was no codes and nothing wrong with my car, which clearly there must be problem. I do not feel safe for myself or others while driving this car. Chrysler needs to fix this problem. There have been many people on this site complaining of the same exact problem. 2016 jeep compass had a recall for the crank sensor but my car did not fall under this recall but clearly it should have. This is my 3rd time at the chrysler dealer who have been unable to recreate the problem i have been experiencing.
