Description of the problem	Owns a 2016 jeep compass. As of 10/07, the engine stalled while attempting to start after being driven for approx 30 min. The check engine indicator illuminated. The vehicle was able to be driven and was checked upon parking. The following morning (10/08) vehicle stalled upon attempting to start after being driven for approx 10-15 min. The check engine indicator was still illuminated. Was able to drive car to work and checked several times to see if car would stall upon starting. No issues and check engine indicator disappeared. Contacted recall/chrysler dept, referred to nearest dealership in which i was advised that my vin was not associated with the current recall & not included in nhtsa campaign number: 16v907000 (engine and engine cooling). The failure mileage is only approximately 45,800. I am afraid of the vehicle stalling while driving and/or causing a crash with child in the car.
