Description of the problem	2016 jeep compass recall - the power and engine light comes on and the car loses power. I have to cut it off and restart. The engine light stays on for a while and after a couple of engine starts, the lights go off. When it loses power, pushing on the gas, the car doesn't get any power to move forward. It's only coasting along. This has happened on the highway and in the city. It doesn't matter what speed i am going. Very scary, i have to pull over on the highway to turn off the ignition and turn it back on to continue. I'm afraid eventually it won't turn back on. It started happening around may 2018.
