| Description of the problem | The driver side headrest was in the raised position while i was in transit. I stopped at a traffic light and reached up to push the headrest down to the lower position. I pressed the slide button on the base of the headrest with one hand and pushed down on the headrest with the other hand. The headrest blew apart hitting me in the back of the head when it did so. There was no impact to my vehicle that would have caused the headrest to pop in that manner. I did not hit the headrest but pushed firmly to try and lower it to a more comfortable position. I tried to have the headrest reset and closed but was told by a service technician that the head]rest was in fact broken and needed to be replaced. |
