Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2013 jeep compass. While driving approximately 70 mph, the transmission warning light illuminated and the contact heard a whining sound emerging from the transmission area. The contact had to merge to the side of the highway to a complete stop. The contact let the vehicle cool down for approximately 15 minutes and it resumed normal operation.
