Description of the problem	I bought the vehicle about 3 years ago and about one month into the purchase, the engine light has been steady on and off for the last 3 years. We have brought it to a dealer, we have had the vehicle pass inspections, once the car is reset the engine light goes off. The code that has consistently come up is the catalytic converter, which we were told numerous occasions that it's just a glitch. Now, the light will not go off after a reset and are being told that we need to replace the whole catalytic converter (which i can not afford) and don't even know if it's a true issue being since the engine light constantly being on since the purchase of the vehicle and now won't go off at all. I'm wondering why this car/vin hasn't showed up on the recall list with the others with the catalytic converter recalls!!!????
