| Description of the problem | Took 2007 jeep compass in for oil change. Mechanic said that car was dangerous to drive as ball joints and control arms needed replaced and were so loose that they may cause accident. Because of cost of repair, took car to jeep dealer for servicing to get a second opinion. They confirmed that the ball joints and control arms do need replaced and that they are dangerously loose. Car is unsafe to drive. Repair estimate is $935 although i'm trying to negotiate since this seems to be a defect with the car. |
