Once recall announced st pete jeep said they had resolved the issue. However the dealership has a local reputation of saying the work was completed when it had not. Now i have moved to minnesota and the brakes are tightening. The bas and slippery signal is on and off. And the engine symbol is consistent on the dashboard. I feel unsafe in my vehicle and i feel the issues are related. The vehicle was towed to roseville chrysler [xxx] they are charging me $140 to review the vehicle. I just received part time work and unable to drive the possibly unsafe vehicle. Please assisting to make sure the dealership follows procedure. I [xxx] nhtsa campaign id number : 06v493 manufacture dates: september - december 2006 potential number of units affected : 50,665 jeep compass summary on certain vehicles, the antilock brake system (abs) control module software may cause the rear brakes to lock up during certain braking conditions.
