| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2007 jeep compass fwd. On june 19, 2007, after coming to a stop, the contact accelerated and the vehicle stalled. The check oil light illuminated. She was able to immediately restart the vehicle. She went to the dealer to have the vehicle checked, but they stated that the vehicle was fine. The vehicle's computer lost its programming when she stopped to put gas in the vehicle. The contact also stated that the passenger side air bag light illuminated, as if the air bag was not working. The mechanic advised her not to put her purse on the seat because it may cause the air bag sensor to deprogram itself. The current mileage is 17,200 and failure mileage was 17,150. |
