Description of the problem	. My 2007 jeep compass 4x4 ltd stall when i fuel it up. I have replaced both sending units and the vapor canister. My mechanic says the rollover valve in the tank needs to be replaced since this is a common problem with other jeep compass and patriot vehicles. My mechanic must replace the gas tank as the rollover valve cannot be replaced to avoid this problem in the future. This is a common problem with both of these vehicles and can cause an accident. Vehicle stalls every time when coming to a stop directly after fueling vehicle. It will stall 4-6 times but will start back up with no problems. After vehicle has been on the road with rpm's up for a few minutes the problem goes away. It is very dangerous to pull out into traffic or trying to turn a corner and have your vehicle stall.
