| Description of the problem | Car stalls after refueling. Problem begins a few minutes after filling the tank. I have to sit at the gas station and try keeping it running before leaving, it is not safe in traffic. It only does it after refueling. I am told i need to replace the gas tank to correct the problem. They tell me gas is going back into the charcoal canister messing with the computer. A bad valve in the gas tank, requiring the entire gas tank to be replaced. I have been doing some research on this issue and finding a lot of people having the same issue it is not just a jeep compass issue. |
