| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2008 jeep commander. The contact was driving 40 mph when the vehicle lost power abnormally and decelerated to 20 mph. The etc and esp warning lights were illuminated. The failure persisted intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer numerous times. The dealer replaced the throttle body assembly twice and the computer was reset but to no avail. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer but the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 21,075 and the current mileage was 34,400. |
