| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2008 jeep commander. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 14v567000 (electrical system) and stated that the part was not available within a reasonable time frame to schedule the recall repair. The contact called three dealers and was not able to get the part for months. The contact stated that the fob failed to function causing the doors to be unable to lock and unlock. In addition, the alarm activated sue to the failure and the fob was activated several times in order to deactivate the alarm. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.
