| Description of the problem | More than once our jeep commander, while driving on the street or at highway speeds, has turned off on its own. When the car turns off you lose nearly all braking and steering power. Luckily no one has been hurt, yet. This seems to be related to the recent jeep ignition recall, yet no part is available to actually fix this problem. Because this problem is potentially life threatening, we have no choice but to discontinue use of the car which means we were forced to buy another car until our jeep can be fixed. |
