| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2007 jeep commander. The contact stated that the transmission had to be replaced. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who advised the contact that the torque converter and gear exchange solenoid needed to be replaced because the vehicle would not shift past second gear nor accelerate over 20 mph. The contact stated the vehicle also could not be driven in reverse. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 58,000 and the current mileage was 58,500.
