Description of the problem	Purchase a used 2007 jeep commander on nov 2007 from dealership. Two years in possession. The jeep commander, gears will all light up and stall at 30 rpm for two in half months frequently. Without the dealership able to establish cause, i had to wait for the engine light to come on. On december 11. 2009, during the last two days, simultaneous the gears will light up while, the speedometer became irregular causing me to restart the jeep consistently to reset it. Finally, the dashboard engine lights up and i turn it in to the dealership on december 12, 2009 the next morning. According, to dealership located in hampton, va. The problem is concluded as the shifter, not cover by the 4 star warranty however, after researching your database, i found similar problems with the power train and transmission software module. The jeep is now located at the dealership for repair however, a major problem after 2 years and 40,000 miles in service should not be the cause of ware and tear.
