| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2007 jeep commander. While driving approximately 40 mph the vehicle stalled. The vehicle would not restart and it was towed to an authorized dealer where she was informed that there was a computer failure. The vehicle was repaired. The failure recurred intermittently while driving and stopping. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer to be repaired. She also stated that when the vehicle stopped it would intermittently perform as if it were running out of fuel. The manufacturer was notified and she was informed that the vehicle was not included in the recall associated with nhtsa campaign id number 08v203000, power train:automatic transmission:control module (tcm, pcm). The failure mileage was 33,000 and the current mileage was 54,000. |
