| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2007 jeep commander. The contact was driving at various different speeds when he noticed that the engine would exhibit and unusual increase in rpms yet the vehicle would not accelerate. The failure recurred intermittently for approximately one year until while driving approximately 60 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle would not restart and was towed to an authorized dealer where they were unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure continued to recur intermittently. The vehicle was taken back to the authorized dealer where it was repaired but to no avail. The failure continued to recur intermittently. The failure mileage was unknown and the current mileage was 37,000. |
