The contact stated that after the vehicle was serviced under nhtsa campaign number: 14v4380000 (electrical system), it became difficult to remove the key from the ignition switch. In addition, the contact stated that the ignition switch was sticking out further than it should. The failure recurred each time the vehicle was started. The contact also mentioned that the remote start failed to operate. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and the contact was informed that it was normal due to the ignition switch being new. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 117,000. |
