Description of the problem	Jeep will not repair my vehicle. I have attempted to schedule the ignition switch recall repair for a year. The dealership alleges that it does not have the parts. This vehicle is unsafe to drive. Three drivers in our family have experienced sudden shut-off of the vehicle while driving on city streets and the highway. We have been fortunate that we have not been involved in any accidents as a result. We are not able to completely discontinue our use of the vehicle, but have been forced to use other transportation whenever possible out of fear that the vehicle will shut off while driving and cause an accident. We are not in a financial position to sell the vehicle, especially in its defective condition. I would not, in good conscience, be able to offer the vehicle for sale without disclosing the defect, and i would owe more on the outstanding loan than the amount for which i could sell it. This is outrageous that jeep will not repair the vehicle. How can it take more than a year to produce the part(s)? How can they continue to produce new vehicles while ignoring this problem? Your notice states that the nhtsa is sincerely concerned about my safety, so i'm confused as to why jeep is permitted to make this matter such a low priority (or completely ignore the problem). Please help, i don't want to become your next statistic.
