| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2007 jeep commander. While driving approximately 70 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The contact coasted to the side of the road, and powered the vehicle off and back on. The vehicle restarted; however, the failure recurred on multiple occasions at various speeds. The contact also stated that the vehicle stalled for approximately 2 to 3 seconds and independently restarted while driving at various speeds. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 14v438000 (electrical system); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000. |
