| Description of the problem | While i was driving on the highway i had my cruise control set at 55 mph as i came into a 35 mph zone i had tapped my brakes and then came to a red light where i had to stop, when the light turned green i then turned on state route 348 where the speed limit is back to 55 when i pushed the button to resume, my 06 jeep commander accelerated to a very high speed as if i pushed the peddle to the floor. When i pushed the break it then turned the cruise control off, luckily there were no cars in front of me or i would have crashed into the rear of their vehicle at a high rate of speed. At this point i cannot use my cruise control because this happens every time i try (note: i always make sure there is no cars in front of me). |
