| Description of the problem | I was driving 25 miles and hit a bump. Noise starting coming from under the middle row seat. Checked under the car, could see no issues. Brought it to 2 mechanics could not see problem. Drove car everything was fine until hit a bump and the noise starting again. Brought it back to the mechanic and could not see or here problem. Called chrysler and was told that this is a common occurrence and that the brake cable falls down and hits the differential and the drive shaft. I asked if this was a recall issue and they said no that i would have to cover repairs. Contacted jeep dealer and it is going to be $350 for repair. I believe this should be a safety recall as if it continues to happen brakes can fail. |
