| Description of the problem | I had a warranty on my jeep and called in about my seats belt in 2008, told the company my rear seatbelts were falling apart and not able to click into place, as well as my 2nd row seat belts the plastic around them are falling off and the belts are not locking. The daimler chrysler warranty company told me it was not covered under any recall, but this would be a defect in the seat belts not locking into belts clasps and not plastic is coming off, and my kids are coming out of the seatbelts, almost ending up in a wreck back in 2007, rep from warranty said there was nothing that could be done i would have to pay for seatbelts to be looked at. I am unable to securely put my kids in the back seats now. I am researching recalls now and seen i can make a formal complaint. |
