Description of the problem	My eight year-old daughter was sitting in the third-row seat on the passenger side as we drove down the freeway. She leaned forward in her seat and the metal part of the seat belt retractor completely broke off above the bolt and below the buckle. This car was involved in a minor fender-bender two years ago (with no one sitting in that seat),but is otherwise accident-free. As a mother of four small children, this malfunction is of extreme concern. I do my best to comply with all the car seat laws, but what does it matter if the seat belts themselves fail?
