Description of the problemThe following happened only after recall. Research seems to indicate it is directly related to recall. Brief display of "service 4 wheel drive" after recall n23/nhtsa 13v-175. It went out then on february 3, 2014 it displayed same message again repeatedly. On february 17, 2014 i tried to put vehicle in 4 wheel drive neutral and it would not shift only displayed "service 4 wheel drive". As i do not use this system weekly during times of bad weather (i stay home) i was not aware of the problem. I believed that the service reminder message was for the fluid change that had been done at time of the recall at my expense and just had not been properly reset. I was unaware it was a warning of system failure.
