| Description of the problem | Jeep commander gets hard jolt, as if being hit from behind, and engine "dies". No lights on dash, just won't go. Engine doesn't rev. Tach at 0 regardless of amount of accelerator. You can put it in park and it will start again. This has happened on several occasions, i have had it in the shop on numerous occasions, always with the report of nothing is showing on the computer report. I have spent over $1000 on various fuel systems services, tune ups, etc which they say may be the problem, but it is still stalling. Dealer says that the problem can't be replicated. With all these reports, and the obvious danger of an unexpected stall this is life threatening and needs to be recalled. |
