Description of the problem	I bought the 2006 commander used in august of 2007 with 13,000 miles on it. It ran great, no complaints. In the winter-time, i noticed when i started it after it had been sitting for several hours, then put it in gear, stepping on the gas pedal would do nothing but rev the engine. A few seconds later it would kick into gear and go. I contacted the dealership who said it just needs time to warm up, it's winter and the car is cold. When spring rolled around this was still occurring. One day i was traveling down a hill, heard a big clunk and then the gear shift would only register 3, 4 and 5. No 1 or 2. I brought it in and they replaced the solenoid. The problem didn't come back right away but came back eventually. I've had the problem ever since december of 2007 and on monday i'm taking it in for the 4th time to drive with yet another technician so they can guess at what the problem may be. Problem is, i'm at 35,400 miles. Once i hit 36k i'm sure they'll discover the problem and then i'll have to pay for it.
