| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2006 jeep commander. The contact stated that while driving between 35 and 40 mph, the check engine light illuminated followed by an unusual increase in engine rpms. The vehicle then became hesitant as if the contact was driving in neutral. The contact confirmed that the failure has occurred several times intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer four times to assess the failure but the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was not notified.
