Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2006 jeep commander. The contact stated that the vehicle would intermittently stall with the illumination of the instrument panel lights. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed with electrical and electrical ignition switch failures. The vehicle was not repaired; however, the contact later discovered that the vehicle was included in nhtsa campaign number: 14v438000 (electrical system), but had not yet received notification of the recall. The contact received notification of the recall three weeks later and called the dealer for repairs. The dealer verified that the vehicle was included in the recall but also stated that the parts needed for the repair were not yet available. The contact removed all items from her key ring as advised in the initial recall notification; however, the failure persisted for a year and the dealer still did not have the parts available. The dealer and manufacturer were both contacted and stated that they did not have a time frame in which the parts would become available. The vin was unknown.
