| Description of the problem | 2006 jeep commander. Consumer writes in regards to transfer case actuator recall notice. *smd the consumer stated the vehicle slipped into neutral, leaving her stranded on the highway. She was unable to drive the vehicle, so it had to be towed to the dealer. A week prior, the dealer inspected the vehicle and informed the consumers husband a new transmission was needed and the cost would be between 5,000 and 6,000 dollars. The consumer went to an independent repair shop, where the transmission was replaced. |
