| Description of the problem | 3rd row driver's side seatbelt has broken twice since we purchased jeep commander in may. Dealer replaced broken seatbelt in december 2008 and it broke again february 2009. The first time when we arrived at our destination our son was stuck and couldn't get out. The seatbelt wouldn't release. The second time hard to fasten seatbelt. The seatbelt wouldn't latch. We are not using that seat belt till it is fixed. We are family of 7 so we use all 7 seatbelts. The consequence would be one of our children being seriously injured due to seatbelt failure. |
