| Description of the problem | Engine suddenly stalled while driving on the freeway at 65 mph. No warning lights came on. I was able to get over to the shoulder and restart the car. I took the car to my mechanic today and they can't find anything wrong. I checked online and found that 2008 commanders and grand cherokees were subject to a recall concerning improperly programmed front control modules. According to chrysler my car is not part of the recall, however what happened to my car is exactly the same symptoms as those listed in the recall and supporting information. |
