Description of the problem	This 2008 jeep commander 4x4 4. 7 liter v8 was just purchased used. The 1st day it stalled at a stop sign. Then stalled at a drive through. The second day the stalling continued including accelerating from a stop sign about 30 mph. Would turn over but not restart at first, but then i discovered that when cycling the key to off and back on again it would restart instantly. The local jeep dealer has verified the issue occurs, but has had it for 3 weeks with no idea of a resolution. They report being in contact with chryslers star technical support... Again no action or resolution. I discovered the prius owner had vehicle in for the same issue with no resolution. It is just like you turn the key off; no power steering, no power brakes. When searching for information in google... It is appears to be a very common issue, but i can find no resolutions myself.
