| Description of the problem | This note, is the third time this has occurred. Other incidents reported back in summer 2014 (reported to nhtsa). On october 16, 2015 at approximately 9:35pm my entire car shut down while driving on a major highway (i-94) in mi while going about 70 mph. All gauges on dashboard when to zero. I was able to pull off to the side of the highway and stop the car. Please note, i had a 5 year old and a 4 year old with me in the car. I let car sit for couple minutes then restarted. Some models of the 2008 jeep commander have been recalled for a faulty ignition switch; however, it appears this model still has not been recalled. |
