| Description of the problem | While attempting to start my 08 jeep commander it was completely dead. I had it taken to the dealership and they told me that it was the ignition switch and key fob. When all was said and done it cost me over $300 for the repair. I have seen that recall p57 was active on jeep commanders from manufacture dates of 5-12-08 and earlier, my manufacture date is 5-16-08. This seems to be awfully close to the recall date to not be include especially since mine was for the same issue. |
