Description of the problem	While driving on the freeway, my vehicle was struck with a pebble which caused it to chip. Days later, the entire windshield was cracked. The dealership looked at it, took pictures, submitted it to determine whether they would replace it due to defect, etc. I was told by several automotive professionals that the situation was odd. I never heard back from the dealership, and after several attempts of trying to contact them, was told they were still waiting. Months had passed and i still never got anywhere with chrysler so i replaced the windshield out of pocket in nov. 2007. Since then i have 2 new stone chips and a 3rd that resulted in the same splintering crack across the entire windshield. The same has recently happened to my 2008 dodge avenger when a small chip splintered in 5 different directions. In all the years i have been driving and all the vehicles my husband and i have owned i have never had even a chip in a windshield, even while living on a gravel road. Is this just bad luck or is chrysler to blame for cheap/faulty parts? I have seen many service bulletins on your website regarding this as well.
