| Description of the problem | Purchased the 2007 jeep commander 4x4 2 weeks ago. When i started the jeep the service park assist flashed and went away, i headed down my driveway onto the highway and could not accelerate more than 20 miles per hour, the jeep would not shift gears. I pulled to the side of the road for safety because of traffic, turned the jeep off, started it again and merged back onto the highway and the jeep again could not go more than 20 mph, put on hazards and brought to mechanic. Left the jeep running, got back into to reverse and the it would not reverse, at this time the prnd was lit up on the dash board. Still waiting to here what the problem is mechanic can not duplicate. Very serious safety problem as i use to transport my children. |
