| Description of the problem | On two separate occurrences so far, the jeep has randomly stalled out at highway speeds in traffic. Accelerator and steering loose function. Other times it has nearly stalled but regained operation. Check engine light comes on with code for large vacuum leak? Dealer was unable to find anything wrong and is currently evaluating again. Vehicle starts back up fine after pulling to side of road and removing and reinserting key. Safety issue to stall at highway speeds and lose power steering! This does not appear to be the first occurrence as there are many other complaints and a recall/investigation which noted it in 2007 vehicles but only issued a pcm recall for 2006 vehicles. |
