| Description of the problem | Brakes failed twice since purchasing vehicle in april. Once with my wife driving and once with me which i will describe here: driving uphill at about 35 mph and traffic light at top of hill turned red. Removed right foot from accelerator and pushed on brake pedal. The pedal felt very stiff and did not travel the normal distance. Brakes did not engage regardless of how hard i pressed on pedal. Had to swerve to shoulder. After about 3 seconds the brakes kicked in my locking up all 4 tires. *jb |
