| Description of the problem | The seat belts in my 2007 jeep commander malfunction. The third row seat buckles have cracked making them very difficult to get the belt into the buckle. At times the belts will even unlatch on their own. One of the buckles had shattered and is now completely inoperable. This is also happening to the second row seats as well as the passenger seat. Having three children with car seats in the car, this is very unsafe. Especially since they can detach at any time. It also makes me very concerned about the security of the belts in the event of a crash. I have found hundreds of complaints online regarding the 2006-2007 model years having serious problems with the seat belts. |
