| Description of the problem | Vehicle randomly stalls while driving it at various speeds and while parked. This time, i was going 45mph and it completely stalled. The vehicle has to be in park in order to restart it and it was very difficult to start. This is extremely dangerous since the brakes and steering don't work when it stalls. I have also discovered that there was a recall on a handful of 2008 commanders due to a malfunctioning front control module or transmission control module. This should be taken very seriously because many jeep owners are afraid to drive them due to the uncertainty of the random stalling. |
