Description of the problem	I was driving my 2007 jeep commander limited edition 4x4 in city traffic driving approximately 25 mph in stop and go traffic when it stalled for no apparent reason. The check engine light also came on. After restarting the engine, the problem went away. This stalling and engine light warning has since happened at least 100 more times over the last 4 years. Dealer and independent mechanics are unable to troubleshoot the problem. The most recent event happened on 6/8/14. Complete engine stall on interstate highway. Vehicle was towed 65 miles to home town. Mechanic replaced alternator and battery. Engine started fine, ran well for 2 days and then engine light came back on with intermittent stalling and rough idling. Jeep is at dealer as we speak. Dealer stated they cannot duplicate the problem and will keep the vehicle overnight and try to duplicate the problem tomorrow.
