| Description of the problem | Starting in september of 2013 while on the interstate traveling at 70mph in the middle lane of 3, the vehicle shut off and the warning lights came on and we had to drift to the side of the road. We got of the road to the side put the jeep in park and after several tries it restarted. We have noticed on occasions after this, while slowing down to turn there is a clunk in the drivetrain. Soon after the clunk starts, that is when the jeep will shut off. It has happened at highway speed and at signal lights. After the first it shut off we took it to a jeep dealer and they put on in on the computed but said it didn't show anything. This has happened about 10 times since september and you take your like in your hands everytime you get on the interstate. |
